❄️ Sidewalk Snow & Ice Reminder ❄️
The City of Alliance would like to remind residents and business owners—especially those in business districts—that property owners and occupants are responsible for keeping sidewalks adjacent to their property clear of snow and ice.
Per City Ordinance 521.06 – Duty to Keep Sidewalks in Repair and Clean:
No owner or occupant of abutting lands shall fail to keep the sidewalks, curbs or gutters in repair and free from snow, ice or any nuisance. (ORC 723.011)
Keeping sidewalks clear helps ensure safe passage for pedestrians throughout the community. Thank you for your cooperation.
