The City of Alliance Planning Commission will hold a meeting on Wednesday, September 17, at 4:30 p.m. Due to anticipated higher attendance, the meeting will also be available to the public via Zoom.

Alliance Codified Ordinance 771.10 requires all owners of no-owner occupied residential premises (Residential Rental Property) to file with the City of Alliance. You can register with the link below.
Notices have been sent to property owners regarding lead and/or galvanized water service lines. Receiving this notice does not mean that your current service line is lead or galvanized. The City was required to send this notice to any sites where it cannot be confirmed that the service line was never lead or galvanized pipe.
The City has confirmed if current service lines continue to use lead pipe. If you do not know if your service line includes lead pipe, please contact Jen Merriman at 330-829-2235. You may also at that time find out if the City has already determined if your service line includes galvanized pipe.
The City is working to confirm service lines using galvanized pipe. This process requires an interior inspection of your water meter connection. This inspection must be scheduled with the City, OR, you may perform the inspection yourself. Performing the inspection yourself avoids the need for an appointment and will allow you to know if you have galvanized pipe much sooner. Alternatively, you may schedule an appointment for the City to make the determination by calling the Water Billing Office at 330-823-3126. In the event you choose neither, you will in the future be contacted by the City to schedule a mandatory inspection.
