The boil advisory that was issued for all Alliance water customers who are south of South St and east of Union, and those south of Glamorgan and west of Union is now lifted. Boiling of water is no longer needed as a precaution. Sample results have confirmed that there was no bacterial contamination of the water supply resulting from the loss of system pressure Tuesday evening and that the water is safe for consumption.
