Come and visit the Alliance, Ohio Silver Park

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Public Lands maintains 220 acres consisting of 24 parks and parklands, ranging from small neighborhood green spaces to 60-acre Butler-Rodman Park Complex.

Throughout the park system, shelters are available for public use during park hours and can be reserved for a small fee by contacting the Park Office.

The Alliance Park System is very fortunate to be supported by the non-profit organization, "Friends of the Park." Annually, the "Friends of the Park," along with many of the area's service and garden clubs, donate their time and money in support of our parks and recreation programs and projects.

Annual City Events in City Parks:

  • Jaycees 4th of July Celebration - Silver Park
  • Hot Stove League Regional and State Baseball Tournament - Butler-Rodman Park (last weekend of July and first weekend in August)
  • Carnation Days in the Park - Silver Park (usually held the second week in August)

Annual Major Recreational Programs:

  • Winter, Summer and Fall Adult Volleyball Leagues
