Severe Weather Awareness information.

Flu or flu like illness continues in Stark County.  It's not too late to get vaccinated against the flu.  Flu vaccine is available at all four health departments in the county and many private physicians and pharmacies.  Other steps for flu prevention are:
  • Avoid being around other people if you are ill
  • Stay home from work and keep sick children home from school or child care
  • Those who have been sick should be fever free for 24 hours before returning to work or school
  • Wash hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol-based sanitizers when unable to wash hands
  • Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze
