Ordinance 59-06: introduced by Ryan: an Ordinance Vacating part of a 17.4 foot alley North of Harrison Street between the West line of City of Alliance lot 8185 and the East line of lot 8191 in the City of Alliance, County of Stark, and State of Ohio.

Ordinance 66-06: introduced by Okey / Thompson: an Ordinance to improve and update the Alliance Emergency Management Agency; to amend Chapter 165 of the Codified Ordinances of Alliance, Ohio; to amend Ordinance 7-91; and declaring an emergency.

Ordinance 67-06: introduced by Okey / Price: an Ordinance to require the Mayor to submit a proposed city budget to City Council on or before January 31 of each Year.

Ordinance 71-06: introduced by Andreani: an Ordinance authorizing and directing the Director of Public Safety and Service to submit an application for and enter into a Grant Agreement for Federal Matching funds from the U. S. Department of Justice to provide bullet proof vests for the Alliance Police Department; and declaring an emergency.

Ordinance 72-06: introduced by Rhome: an Ordinance authorizing and directing the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise for bid and enter into a contract for the purchase or lease of, including installation costs, or renew the existing contract for granular activated carbon at the Water Treatment Plant for a period of three years and such additional optional time periods as may be available; and declaring an emergency.

Ordinance 73-06: introduced by Rhome: an Ordinance authorizing and directing the Director of Public Safety and Service enter into a contract for the purpose of purchasing a new crew cab pickup truck for the Distribution Department through the Cooperative purchasing programs of the Ohio Department of Transportation or to advertise for bids and enter into a contract with another vendor at the lowest and best price, but for a cost not to exceed $22,000.00 in any case; and declaring an emergency.

Ordinance 74-06: introduced by Okey / Rhome: an Ordinance amending Ordinances 129-05, 64-06 and 65-06 pertaining to rehabilitation of primary and secondary clarifiers at the Wastewater Treatment Plant to correct an error in the fund from which funds shall be expended; and declaring an emergency.

Ordinance 75-06: introduced by Price: an Ordinance reducing the distance requirement of section 743.08 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Alliance from Two Hundred Fifty feet to a minimum of approximately Thirty feet for a new construction on a tract on Westwood Avenue; and declaring an emergency.

Ordinance 76-06: introduced by Okey: an Ordinance making appropriations and transfers of funds in the 2006 appropriations to provide for necessary expenses and adjustments; and declaring an emergency.

Ordinance 125-05: introduced by Schwarz: an Ordinance creating new Chapter 117-Fees of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Alliance and amending sections of the codified Ordinances for the purpose of giving the Director of Public Safety and Service the authority to review, update and establish permit, plan review, and inspection fees for Engineering, Planning and Zoning and to make them compatible to other local communities with the approval of Council, approving new fees; and declaring an emergency.

Ordinance 130-05: introduced by Schwarz: an ordinance to adopt a new City of Alliance Planning and Zoning Code and sub-Division/ Development Regulations to completely replace the existing Planning and Zoning Code, Map and Sub-Division Regulations in the Codified Ordinances of the City of Alliance, Counties of Stark and Mahoning and State of Ohio.

Ordinance 07-06: introduced by Okey/ Price/ Phillips/ Thompson/ Ryan: an Ordinance to promote the downtown business area of Alliance by permitting certain pole signs along State Street and Union Avenue.

Ordinance 17-06: introduced by Rhome: an Ordinance amending Alliance Codified Ordinances Section 509.08 “Music Prohibited During Certain Hours” (Tabled 1/17/06)

Ordinance 44-06: introduced by Andreani: an Ordinance authorizing and directing the Director of Public Safety and Service to advertise for proposals for a contract with the City for an exclusive provider to provide emergency medical and ambulance transport services within the City of Alliance and to submit those proposals to City Council; and declaring an emergency.
