Sealed bids will be received by the Alliance City Auditor, 504 East Main Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601, until 11:30 a.m. local time on Friday, March 9, 2018 for furnishing various city supplies for the City of Alliance for the year ending December 31, 2018. At 12:00 noon on March 9, 2018, the bids will be opened and publicly read at the City Administration Building, 2nd Floor Conference Room, 501 East Main Street, Alliance, Ohio.

Specifications for various supplies and proposal forms are available at the Office of the Director of Public Safety & Service, 504 East Main Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601 by calling 330-821-3110, or by calling individual city departments or online at

Each bid must be made on the form provided and must contain the names and addresses and e-mails of all parties interested.  As a security, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a performance bond in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), made payable to the City of Alliance will be required.

Sealed envelopes containing such bids must be plainly marked as follows:
1) "2018 Supply Bids"
2) Name and address of the company you represent.

The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities, and to accept the bid considered lowest and best for the City.
