Sealed bids will be received by the Alliance City Auditor, 504 East Main Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601, until 11:30 a.m. local time on Friday, September 25, 2020 for furnishing Concrete.  At 12:00 noon on September 25, 2020, the bids will be opened and publicly read at the City Administration Building, 2nd floor Conference Room, 504 E. Main St. for: CONCRETE, 4000 psi sack limestone blend.

Specifications for the various materials and proposal forms are available at the Office of the Director of Public Safety & Service, 504 East Main Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601 by calling 330-821-3110, or calling individual city departments or online related to this posting.

Each bid must be made on the form provided and must contain the names and addresses and e-mails of all parties interested.  As a security, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and a performance bond in the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00), made payable to the City of Alliance will be required.

Sealed envelopes containing such bids must be plainly marked as follows:
  1. Concrete "2020"
  2. Name and address of the company you represent.
The Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all formalities, and to accept the bid considered lowest and best for the City.  Published in the Review on September 11, 2020, and September 18, 2020.
