Immunization Clinic

Clinics are conducted on Monday and Tuesday, from 1-3:45 pm and Fridays from 8:45-10:45 pm by appointment. A late clinic is held the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 2-5:30 pm. All childhood immunizations are administered. The fee is $20, but no one is denied service due to the inability to pay. Medicaid and certain private insurances are accepted.

Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Supplemental Food Program
This is a supplemental food program that helps eligible pregnant, breast-feeding, and postpartum women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at risk for health problems. WIC provides food rich in calcium, iron, and protein. WIC promotes breast feeding, which is accomplished through individual and group counseling.

Sexually Transmitted Infections Clinic

This free and confidential walk-in clinic operates every Thursday from 8:30 am to 10:00 am.

Tuberculosis Skin Testing

Testing is done Tuesday mornings by appointment.

HIV/AIDS Counseling and Testing
Counseling and testing are available by walk-in Thursdays from 9:00 to 11:00 am.Other times are available by appointment.

Communicable Disease Investigation
Follow up individuals reported with communicable diseases and their contacts to prevent the spread of disease.

Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps (BCMH)
Nursing referrals and coordination of services for children with special health care needs are available for individuals under 21 years of age. Core functions include: diagnostic program, treatment program, team service coordination program, public health nursing services, and medical home for children with special health care needs.

Car Seats for Kids
This program offers free instructions about the installation of child safety seats. A limited supply of child safety seats are available for a small fee for children who qualify. Call for the next scheduled class.

Cribs for Kids Program

This program offers free instructions about safe sleep environments for babies.Limited supply of portable cribs available at a low cost for eligible babies. Call for the next scheduled class.

Newborn Home Visitation Program

This program is available to first-time moms, teen mothers, and others who request a visit.A registered nurse assesses the baby and the mother's health and recovery. Information about child development is offered and connection to community services and supports is provided.Call to schedule a visit.

Lead Poisoning Prevention Program

Case Management and education for reported elevated lead levels in children.  Home environmental assessment intervention.   

Zostavax (Shingles) Vaccine

Vaccines are available by appointment only for people 60 years and older.

Medicaid Applications
Assistance with enrolling in Medicaid and accessing appropriate Medicaid-covered services is also available.
